FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Files are not displaying

When using /upload in Discord, complete the upload on the Web page and a link will be posted to the channel. If it’s slow to appear, try clearing your cache.

Cannot log in

Please confirm that you are a member of the Discord server. Also, check if Discord authentication has completed successfully.

Cannot download files

Please check if downloads are allowed in your browser settings. Large files may take time to download.

Are there any unsupported file formats?

We support all file formats in general, but in-browser viewing is only available for some formats. Please download files that cannot be displayed.

How do I remove the Bot or stop using it?

Open Discord server settings → Members → select "DisCoRibute" and kick it from the server. The Bot is then disabled. To re-add the Bot, run /invite again.

How long do uploaded files stay?

They stay until you delete them, as long as the server has storage left. Nothing is deleted automatically. When storage is full, new uploads stop until you delete files or upgrade the plan.

Who can see a posted file?

Same as a Discord attachment: anyone who can see the channel (that is, anyone with the link) can play or download it without logging in. To take it down, delete it from /files on the web or from the Discord post. Only the uploader, server admins, and the plan subscriber can delete.

What is the per-file limit?

Free 1GB, Starter 2GB, Pro 3GB, Max 4GB, Ultra 10GB. Server storage is Free 5GB, Starter 25GB, Pro 100GB, Max 300GB, Ultra 1TB.

When in doubt,
add the Bot first.

Use the free allowance to test the flow, then tune the workflow for your server.
